| The Two-Faced Unicorn |

Design principle used: Earthen tones, vertical design elements.

Stensor was part of the Facade Design for this project. This was a preexisting building that needed facade design with a tint of earthen elements fused with contemporary design. Being an apartment building, the challenge with this project was the monotonous built structure, which had its own restrictions to play with massing and form creation for the apartment.

With a subtle play of earthen color palette, wood accent elements in the facade create soft, warm, and natural tones. A vertical barrier is created in the center of the building to break the massive structure into separate forms visually and create an illusion. The physical barriers also help provide a sense of privacy to the residents. Vertical grill design elements were introduced. provide a sense of scale and proportion to the building.
