Dwarakamayee Residence : Form Follows Function

Located amidst a quiet residential area, the project was a dream home for our clients, with a family of three with a site area of 1200 sqft. Client requirements were an office space on the ground floor with a car parking facility and a duplex with 3 bedrooms on the upper floors. This home was designed to suit the needs of the family, in a budget-friendly manner. Light and good ventilation were the main focus for our clients.

Building Facade was designed based on maximizing indoor spaces. Keeping Lighting and ventilation in mind, we have positioned skylights in utility, master bath areas located on the first floor to bring in sunlight. A vertically grilled skylight has been designed over the living space within the duplex to bring in natural light and create a play of patterns on the walls during different times of the day.
